Competitions
DEFSC participates in a variety of competitions each year, as well as hosting our own Learn to Skate competition, the Lakes Area Classic, in January. Our competition is a part of the Central MN Compete USA Competition Series.
If you are interested in competing, please reach out to our Skate Director to make private lesson arrangements.

DEFSC Testing
Learn to Skate testing evaluates proficiency in fundamental skating skills. Our club regularly tests skaters as they master each skill in their skating level. Tests will be administrated by the Skating Director and Skating Coach for Snowplow Sam (1-4), Basic Skills (1-4), and Free Skate (Pre Freeskate - F6).
